Our Founder
I am a certified public accountant with 20 years’ experience of accounting and auditing in various industries for small, mid-size to Fortune 500 companies.
I started my career as an auditor with Deloitte, where I honed the important skill of being able to quickly understand a company’s operations, decipher risks and issues, and recommend solutions. Additionally, I acquired the ability to manage and develop key client relationships and expectations, assist clients with the preparation, coordination, and timing of SEC filings and additional reporting deadlines.
During my tenure at a fortune 100 company, I assisted in the preparation of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K as well as all other SEC filings which involved writing footnotes and coordinating with various departments. I analyzed and interpreted accounting guidance and provided recommendation to management.
I spent 11 years of my career at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, where I participated in all aspects of inspections of public companies’ financial statements and internal controls audits to assess compliance with US GAAP, auditing standards, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the related rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission including managing the inspections and supervising other inspectors.
Most recently prior to starting my own practice, I was the Director of Financial Reporting for a software company owned by a private equity firm. I was responsible for the preparation and presentation of internal and external financial statements, including footnotes.
